Why’s it called “Mykiss”?

We wanted a single, easy to remember word for the business and it’s not that easy to come up with something that’s not already out there … Mykiss is the second part of the latin name for Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus Mykiss)

What is the best way to store Mykiss dog treats?

In the fridge, they should last for 2-3 weeks. If not, it’s best to make sure your dog eats them within a week but cool and dry is best.

What if my dog doesn’t like it?

We can’t guarantee your dog will like it but so far most dogs love it.

Could the pheasant contain lead shot?

Yes it might but very unlikely, we take great care to remove it when we’re butchering the birds but we rarely find any.

These birds are no different to ones you’d buy from a game dealer to eat yourself.

Why is the larger box 190gms and not 200gms?

To ensure we offer a competitive price for our product and postage the Mykiss dog treats box must adhere to Royal Mail’s large letter weight banding – this means we use 190gms in our larger boxes rather than 200gms.
